People's preferences change, children ask their parents to buy not a dog, but a rabbit. Adults do not even know that the baby can be taught to go to the toilet in a regular litter box. It's actually very simple, the principle of litter box training is similar to that used for kittens or miniature dogs. If the rabbit is already there, but does not even want to see the tray, then the time has not come yet. 2-3 months are considered optimal, only at this age the eared begins to understand something.
Instructions
Step 1
Get a low-sided tray with sawdust, small straw, or regular litter inside. Some rabbits eat straw, so it's undesirable to use it, unless, of course, you want the baby to perceive it as a feeding trough.
Step 2
Remind the fool about the tray. If a puddle forms on the floor, scold him a little and take him to the toilet. Let him sit and think, you should scold the rabbit at this time, but not much. In no case should you beat them, they are too fragile and delicate creatures.
Step 3
Rabbits, like many animals, prefer to go to the toilet where they already smell. Do not forget to thoroughly rinse the floors and clean the carpets so that the eared does not smell the old places where he was strictly forbidden to go. Soak a tissue in urine and place in the tray. The kid will start sniffing and will be guided by the smell, so he will be in the right place.
Step 4
Decorative rabbits are smart, they understand what is required of them and after a week they begin to go to the toilet strictly in the tray. Remind your baby more often, and if you have the slightest success, praise him. Only patience and calmness, not everything can work out at once.
