Step 1
Prepare a bowl of water. The water temperature should be 38-40 degrees. If the water is made colder, the rabbit may freeze and catch a cold. This should not be allowed, since colds in these animals are practically not cured.
Step 2
Give your rabbit a carrot, cabbage, or any other food that he likes most. Stroke his coat in the direction of its growth. This will calm the pet down.
Step 3
Remember that no detergents should be used during water treatment, as they will negatively affect the balance of the rabbit's coat. Instead, you can use a sponge, a terry-cloth mitten, or simply hand-wash the animal.
Step 4
Place the rabbit in a bowl or bath of water of the right temperature, stroke it and gently water it with water. Rub your hands over all soiled areas on the animal's fur, avoiding the area around the eyes and ears. It is strictly forbidden to wet the eyes and ears, as this will provoke the appearance of otitis media, which cannot be treated in decorative rabbits.
Step 5
When rinsing your rabbit with water, it is important not to use the shower. It is better if there is a container with warm clean water next to it. Remove the rabbit carefully from the water and cover it with a towel. After the towel gets wet, you need to change it and continue to wipe the rabbit as the pet dries. Put the absolutely dry animal on the floor, treat it with food again and stroke it. It is necessary to talk affectionately with the animal so that it does not take offense. Decorative rabbits are very clean and rarely get dirty, but if there is a need to wash them, then it is better to do this with the least harm to the psyche of the animal.

In no case do not speed up drying with household appliances - this will frighten the decorative rabbit and negatively affect its nervous system.
