If your kitten is just born, then the best food for him will be breast milk. If for some reason this is not possible, then you can feed him yourself. Plus, about three weeks after your baby is born, you still need to feed him.
Instructions
Step 1
You need to start feeding with milk. However, fatty cow's milk is not suitable. You can take milk powder with a pinch of sugar or medium fat. On the first day, two teaspoons are enough. Then increase the amount of milk by one spoonful daily.
Step 2
After a month and a half, you will have a choice - what to feed? It can be special food for animals or regular "human" food. If your choice is for natural products, then after 1, 5 months, start feeding the kittens with mushy food. In this case, both baby food and pureed cottage cheese and low-fat kefir can be suitable.
Step 3
The following thing must be remembered - food should be varied. This is necessary in order for the kitten to learn to eat everything in childhood. It is very difficult for an adult cat to accustom to the fact that it has not eaten before. Therefore, you need variety so that your pet gets good nutrition. Do not forget to add meat to the diet of more or less adult kittens. The best option is beef, but you should not give pork. You can give fish (preferably sea fish) once a week. Cottage cheese is very useful at a young age. Also spoil the kittens with cheese, sour cream and eggs.
Step 4
For a growing organism, plant products are needed. For young kittens, cook porridge in milk, for older kittens - in broth. Do not forget that your kitten must have constant access to water.
Step 5
The diet is as important as what you feed your kitten. From 1, 5 to 4 months, feed 5 times a day. From 4 to 5 months of age, switch to 4 meals a day. From 8 months on - 3 meals a day, and gradually teach the pussy to eat 1-2 times a day.
Step 6
The kitten must have its own place for a meal and its own dishes. Do not train him to eat from the table. Otherwise, a beggar will grow up.
