Cats of different breeds differ from each other in their character, demeanor and habits. Siberian cats are very beautiful and graceful animals, absolutely not fastidious and not whimsical in everyday life. But their owner should treat the food of Siberians with special attention, because natural sources of food for domestic cats, as a rule, are not available.
Instructions
Step 1
The Siberian cat is a carnivorous animal, so feed it mostly natural products. The main food for cats of this breed is meat. Most useful is beef with veins. Give it to your fluffy pet, chopped 70-100g daily. Choose lamb for a Siberian cat only young and low-fat. You can feed both beef and lamb to your pet both raw and boiled. Raw meat works great for the jaws of the animal. But the rabbit meat, before feeding it to the cat, boil and clean it from the bones. It is not recommended to give pork to a Siberian cat.
Step 2
Give chicken meat to a Siberian cat only in boiled or baked form, carefully removing all bones, the sharp edges of which can hurt the animal's stomach. Siberian cats are especially fond of chicken necks, the eating of which helps to remove tartar. You can feed the turkey raw to your pet. Do not feed your cat with greasy goose and duck meat.
Step 3
Include in the diet of your Siberian cat and offal: boiled heart, cleared of fat, boiled beef or lamb kidneys, lungs. The liver is very useful for Siberian cats. In its raw form, it acts on the animal as a laxative, while the boiled liver, on the contrary, strengthens it. Feed the animal with offal no more than 1 time per week.
Step 4
Feeding raw fish to Siberian cats can lead to digestive upset and stunted growth. From the frequent consumption of raw fish, their wool deteriorates and dandruff appears. You can include boiled lean fish in the Siberian diet. Do not feed your pet with sprat, mackerel and herring.
Step 5
Raw eggs in the body of a Siberian cat are very poorly absorbed. And eating raw egg whites can even lead to dermatitis and hair loss. Add boiled yolk rich in various vitamins and microelements to the main food of the animal once a week.
Step 6
Use legumes as an additive to the main food of the Siberian cat: peas, soybeans, lentils, beans. They are rich in vegetable protein and are well absorbed by the animal's body.
Step 7
Give your Siberian cat at least 2 teaspoons of vegetable puree daily. Feed the Siberian with dairy and fermented milk products as little as possible to avoid diarrhea and colic in the animal.
Step 8
To cleanse the Siberian cat's stomach of wool, be sure to add greens to its main food: parsley, dill, lettuce.
