The digestive system of the West Siberian Laika is a carnivorous carnivore system that requires uniform feeding with concentrated feed. To prevent the dog from developing diseases of internal organs and not disturbing the metabolism, choose a balanced diet for it.

Step 1
Feed your pet raw meat every day at a rate of 10–25 grams per kilogram of animal weight. Feed working dogs and large dogs in small meals 3-4 times a day. Serve fish as well. Place 1/3 of the fish and 2/3 of the meat in a bowl.
Step 2
Use boiled rice with the addition of vegetable oil or animal fat as a filler. However, keep in mind that you cannot give your dog rice alone. For an additional source of vitamins A, D, and E, use pieces of raw liver, adding 5 to 15 g to serving.
Step 3
Include cottage cheese, herring, boiled eggs in the husky diet. Make sure there is always clean water in the bowl.
Step 4
For a medium-sized dog, give 100 g of dairy products, 300 g of meat, 150 g of rice or bread, 20 g of bone meal and 25 g of fat per day. To keep your pet from being picky about food and always have a good appetite, do one day a week as a fasting day. On these days, give your dog only clean water and some breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Remember not to feed your dog sour, fermented, hot or frozen food. Boiled bones, the components of which cannot be digested, are also very harmful to the animal. They can damage the intestinal wall, unlike raw (even tubular) bones. Chalk and eggshells need not be added to food, since they are absorbed by no more than 3 percent.
Step 6
Pay attention to feeding the puppy bitch, after three weeks, double the diet. Feed her high-grade entrails, lean meat, bones with fat, cottage cheese 3-4 times a day. After the puppies are born, quadruple the diet with four meals a day.
Step 7
Beginning at 23 days, when the puppies can already suck milk from the bowl, reduce the mother's diet. Start feeding your puppies with a mixture of milk and raw yolk. Serve scraped raw meat and boiled grated vegetables.
