Cats smell much more sharply than humans, and it is possible that it is on the soles of your shoes that you "bring" home some annoying animal amber. In this case, the cat will begin to fight him in the only way available to him, namely, trying to kill the alien smell with his own.
Step 2
Make sure your cat is shitting on shoes, not tagging them. If you have an adult, uncastrated animal in your home, the desecration of your sneakers and boots is not just an act of disobedience, but one of the manifestations of sexual desire. Cat tags have a disgusting, terrifyingly pungent odor that can be difficult to get rid of. So that he does not mark in the house, either provide the cat with free access to the street - there he will be able to satisfy his reproductive instinct, or take the animal to the veterinary hospital for castration.
Step 3
Be aware that the animal can urinate in the wrong places in cases where it is not all right with health. For example, urolithiasis during an exacerbation makes the cat experience a sharp pain when urinating, and the unfortunate animal, in search of a corner where it can hide from it, is able to recover in the most unexpected places, including in the owner's shoes. Visit your veterinarian urgently - let him examine your pet, take tests from him and, if necessary, prescribe effective treatment.
Step 4
Remember, did you offend your pet? This happens quite rarely, but sometimes cats really shit in the owner's shoes if he was rude to them. In this case, use a special spray from the pet store, designed to discourage the pet from indulging in the wrong places, and remove the shoes where the cat cannot reach them. Of course, it is impossible to offend the pet even more by punishing him; just tell him sternly that you do not need to do this in the future.
