In general, a cat is a former desert animal; it receives the bulk of its daily amount of water from food. Leave, for example, an uncovered bucket of water on the floor, a cup in the sink, or a half-liter jar on the shelf. Soon you will notice that the animal will definitely climb even into a hard-to-reach place to drink, even if it has its own bowl of water.

If the cat already has problems with the urinary system and the doctor has prescribed increased fluid intake, water the cat with a syringe. Take a syringe with a capacity of 5-7 cubic centimeters, remove the needle from it, fill it with water and slowly pour water into the mouth of the beast. The cat will resist, pretend that it is choking, but with such inhumane actions you will save its health and, possibly, life.
