Dzungarian hamsters lead an active lifestyle, very inquisitive, and therefore they need a spacious cage. It is desirable to keep one individual in one cage, since living in the same territory, hamsters can conflict with each other.
You can use an aquarium to keep a jungarik. The bottom of the aquarium is covered with compressed sawdust or fine sand to absorb moisture and odors. It is not allowed to use cotton wool, newspapers, napkins as a bedding. Special fillers are used as bedding. The cage or aquarium is placed in a quiet place without drafts and open sunlight.
In a dzungarik's dwelling, there must be a house, as well as all kinds of labyrinths, ladders, twigs, tunnels, a wheel - all this is necessary for the pet's daily physical exercises.

Feeding hamsters

Dzungarian hamsters breed well at home. The female brings from 2 to 11 cubs and feeds them with milk.
