Branding was first used centuries ago. It is known that not only animals were branded, but first of all people, in order to avoid escape. Now the brand is used for good purposes and especially for animals, such as dogs.
Instructions
Step 1
Be aware that the brand may blur after a certain time, which of course will not have a positive effect on the search for your dog, since it will become impossible to read all the data stamped on the brand. For this reason, call the club where your dog is registered as early as possible after the disappearance of the dog, and also inform about the loss of your breeder - the person from whom it was acquired.
Step 2
Remember that in addition to information about the dog and its owners, the stamp always contains a digital code that allows you to find out from the database in which kennel the animal was taken. Such files of dogs are kept in each club and have certain codes, under which all animals are encrypted. And information about all dogs registered by the brand can be found in the RKF, which is a computer base that contains information about all purebred dogs.
Step 3
Be aware that the brand may blur after a certain time, which of course will not have a positive effect on the search for your dog, since it will become impossible to read all the data stamped on the brand. For this reason, call the club where your dog is registered as early as possible after the disappearance of the dog, and also inform about the loss of your breeder - the person from whom it was acquired.
Step 4
Keep in mind that branding of dogs and other pets is gradually fading into the background, giving way to chipping, that is, implanting a microchip into the animal. This procedure is practically painless. The advantages of using a microchip are obvious. First, over time, the chip will not fail or wear off like a tattoo. Secondly, the use of a chip will greatly simplify the search. Even in order to avoid changing the dog at shows, all animals are passed through a scanner, thereby reading information about the owners.
Step 5
Do not despair if you are the owner of a dog that is by no means purebred, and therefore not registered in any clubs. After all, the dog is dear to you not at all because of the impeccable pedigree. So that in this case your pet is not lost forever, just place all the necessary information on his collar, or use an iron pendant or tag for this purpose.
