The first representatives of this breed were brought to Russia after the Second World War, they were brought by soldiers as trophies, but the breed gradually degenerated, since there was no serious approach to breeding dwarf pinschers. New producers brought in from Israel in the 90s made it possible to continue breeding work. Today this small, well-built dog is often chosen as a loyal friend and companion, getting along well in small city apartments.

Step 1
It is better to feed a Miniature Pinscher puppy that has just been taken from a breeder with the same food that he received before. Find out the breeder in advance all about the diet of your baby and stock up on everything you need for the first time. The puppy should be switched to other foods gradually. The transition to artificial feeding occurs from 6-8 weeks, so it makes no sense to take the dog to the house earlier than this period.
Step 2
Decide whether you will feed your puppy dry or natural. Dry food should be of high quality and intended for small breed puppies. It is balanced and contains everything necessary for the correct development of the dog: vitamins, minerals and nutrients. A combination of both of these feeds is optimal.
Step 3
If you decide to feed your Miniature Pinscher puppy natural foods, start with pureed milk porridge and vegetable soups first. Add boiled beef, sea fish, liver and eggs to the diet gradually, along with mineral and vitamin supplements.
Step 4
From 1, 5 to 2 months, feed the puppy at least 5-6 times a week, after three - 4 times, after six months - 3 times a month, from 7 months of age, switch to 2 meals a day, which you should adhere to further.
Step 5
Give the daily amount of meat that your pet should receive for full development, at the rate of 20-25 g per 1 kg of weight. Best of all, if it is beef, veal, white poultry or rabbit. Tubular bones of a bird should not be given to a dog - their sharp edges will damage its stomach and esophagus.
Step 6
Be sure to include dairy products in your diet - cottage cheese, kefir and fermented baked milk. Cheese can be given infrequently, it is better to use it as a reward in the process of education and training.
Step 7
Cook porridge from rice, buckwheat and oatmeal, add them to soups. Vegetables can be given in any form and practically any, but the eggs must be boiled. Be sure to add a few drops of vegetable oil to the food. Your baby's diet should contain almost the same foods that are recommended for children under 3 years old.
Step 8
Feed the puppy at a strictly defined time in a specially designated place. He should have two bowls - for food and water, their height should be adjusted as the puppy grows. Change the water constantly to keep it fresh. If the puppy has not finished eating the food offered, remove it 10 minutes before the next feed.
