Ferrets are very thrifty animals. In nature, they pick up everything that may ever be useful to them. At home, they behave exactly the same. Observe the animal, if you see that it is dragging another thing in its teeth, say "Fu" loudly. It is a pity that this does not always help. Try to spray on the animal from a spray bottle or lightly slap a thin newspaper on the nose. After you have managed to take away the "prey" from the puppy, swear at him and put him in the cage. Repeat what you have done systematically when you notice that the pet has once again appropriated something.
Ferrets' curiosity also causes a lot of trouble. The animal can chew on a whole collection of books, scratch wallpaper, furniture and even try your favorite cell phone or computer on the tooth. You need to wean your pet in the same way as when stealing furniture and household items. The main thing is not to hit the ferret, otherwise it will bring him severe psychological trauma.
Some ferrets, in a fit of play or just like that, can bite their master, rush at him from a secluded corner or scratch with their claws. This must be stopped immediately! Do not assume that the animal will behave less aggressively as it ages - this is not the case in most cases. A loud phrase "Fu", a newspaper and a spray bottle with clean water will come to your aid. You can cool the ardor of a puppy by hissing at him - sometimes it works much better than all other methods of upbringing.
Ferrets, like dogs and cats, are great beggars. During lunch, all family members can run to the kitchen and take a seat on the chair. But since it is extremely undesirable to treat them with regular food, try to feed the puppy with special food for 20-30 minutes. Be sure to also make sure that the animal does not eat wine or beer. Unfortunately, such cases have been recorded. Do not leave a glass of strong drink unattended.
