Step 1

Jameson's mamba

This is a rather large, fast and, of course, a beautiful snake. She lives mainly in central and western Africa. Jameson's mamba is a venomous snake. Its color can be from poisonous green to yellowish. Unlike other snakes, mambas have round, rather than sharp pupils. Many individuals often have a bright yellow tail. Adult snakes reach a length of 2.5 meters. The body of this reptile is slender and slightly flattened at the top and bottom. Its narrow head is elongated and slightly separated from the neck. The mamba spends the lion's share of the time in the trees, descending to the ground only for hunting. This snake feeds on bats, birds, rodents, lizards and frogs.

Step 2

Honduran milk snake

This beauty is widespread in Honduras, northeastern Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Adults reach a length of 1.3 meters. These beautiful snakes are painted in a very unusual way: the pattern on their skin consists of alternating red, black, light yellow (or white) stripes. Zoologists claim that this type of coloration is quite typical for all milk snakes, regardless of their subspecies. The Honduran milk snake should not be confused with the coral snake. Usually these beauties are kept in terrariums as decorative snakes. In captivity, they feed on rats, mice, and chickens. In nature, the diet of this reptile is not very different: lizards, rodents, birds. These creatures were called dairy, because they believed that it was they who sucked milk from cows, but this is not at all the case: Honduran milk snakes have no enzyme in their stomachs that would process milk. In nature, this snake is nocturnal, spending a lot of time in the water.

Step 3

Rainbow boa

This handsome man is a non-venomous snake belonging to the genus of smooth-lipped boas. In length, it can reach up to 2 meters, but its usual dimensions range from 1.5 to 1.7 meters. The color of the rainbow boa constrictor is simply mesmerizing: from brown to reddish with large spots surrounded by dark rings along the entire back. The sides of this handsome man are dotted with smaller specks with a light crescent stripe passing from above. When the rays of the sun fall on a rainbow boa constrictor, its scales begin to shine unusually and sparkle with all the colors of the rainbow. This is especially noticeable when the boa constrictor is in motion. This wonderful creation of nature lives in the tropical forests of South America, as well as in Brazil, in northern Argentina, in Venezuela, inhabits the Amazon Islands and many other places. It feeds on small mammals and birds.
