Cats are very proud, proud and willful, so toilet training will take a lot of patience. There is no rush in this matter. Gradualness, calmness, patience - and you will get the desired result. This will take about a month, at least, be sure to finish the job, do not stop. To begin with, the cat must already be accustomed to his litter box and not leave surprises in the wrong places. If the litter box was previously in a different place, place it near the toilet and check the cat for a couple of days. As soon as the mustachioed also consistently began to use the toilet in a new place, proceed to the next stage.
Step 2
There are unique cats, they learn almost instantly. The owner puts such an animal on the toilet and makes burying movements with his paw - and that's it, the cat understands what they want from him. There are one in a million of such animals, so we start working with ordinary cats. We put a magazine or a stack of newspapers under the cat's tray every day. The main thing is that the tray is very stable at the same time. Gradually raise it to the level of the toilet seat. When the cat is already confidently jumping onto the raised tray and walking into it, you need to move on to the devices.
Step 3
At this stage, options are possible. If your tray has a pull-out grate, then install it firmly on the toilet seat. It can be attached to adhesive tapes or something else, the main thing is that it does not fall when the cat climbs in there. This option is the most correct, the native smell remains and the training is easier. Some people use plastic colanders or ready-made systems for training cats with grates on suction cups. In any case, the essence is the same - the lattice should gradually expand - from a small hole to the circumference of the seat itself. Increase the holes gradually, little by little every day, for about two weeks. At the same time, look at the cat, whether he keeps up with your manipulations or not quite. After the remaining rim of devices can be removed, the cats keep perfectly on the faience.
