Cat breeders, especially beginners, sometimes face the problem of giving animals their natural needs. The cat begins to get dirty all over the apartment, which, of course, is extremely unpleasant.
If your cat goes to the toilet anywhere, there are several common ways to try to remedy the situation.
The easiest way, which often successfully helps to wean an animal from getting dirty in inappropriate places, is to spray such surfaces. In pet stores, many products are sold that are released in the form of an aerosol. When they are sprayed, a persistent, unpleasant smell for the cat is formed, which makes it clear that nothing good awaits the offender in this place. All places chosen by pets as a toilet should be sprayed with such a product. After the animal stops visiting nooks, sprays with the opposite, attractive effect must be applied to the place where the cat's litter box is located.
Also, so-called "home" remedies can be used to scare away. Cats cannot stand the smell of vinegar, lemon. Spraying with citrus juice or a strong vinegar solution can help scare the animal away from unnecessary areas.
Try changing the litter previously used for the tray. Perhaps the cat does not like that it clogs up between the claws or does something wrong with it. Some cats categorically refuse to go to the litter box, even if it is very slightly wet, others calmly sit down in the used litter several times. If your cat is of the first type, you will obviously need to be careful about keeping the litter box clean. Perhaps buying a filler seems like an overhead for you. Try to pour in a little bit or put a newspaper in the tray - they are in large quantities laid out in mailboxes for free.
