Feeding your cat natural food does not mean using food from the table. Moreover, such food, which is quite suitable for humans, can harm the feline's health and lead to serious discomfort for your pets.

It is necessary

  • - beef with tendons
  • - chicken or rabbit meat
  • -cottage cheese
  • - low-fat sour cream
  • -vitamins for cats

Instructions

Step 1

In fact, dry, canned and specialty quality foods are the best diet for felines. The composition of these mixtures includes everything necessary for the normal functioning of the animal. Of course, you should not rely on the cheapest varieties, it is better to feed your pets with high-class food, which are sold only in specialized stores. The prices in such cases are justified by the quality. The composition of such complexes includes not only fresh products, but also special vitamins and microelements that are vital for a cat.

Step 2

If you find yourself in a situation where it is impossible to buy prepared food, then there is no choice but to transfer the cat to a diet of natural food. Please note that it is strictly forbidden to mix natural food with feed in any proportions. This can lead to feline digestion and gastrointestinal problems. If possible, consult your veterinarian regarding the risks of converting your animal to natural food.

Step 3

For some of the recommended meals, treat your pet to the next cooking meat dish. Take 1kg of beef, 1kg of rabbit or chicken (which is) and ½ kg of boiled liver. Chop everything coarsely, divide into portions and place in the freezer. Take 300 g of cauliflower, zucchini and white cabbage each and boil everything until tender. Cook porridge in water from any cereal. Chop vegetables and porridge and mix in a blender. Divide the mixture into portions, wrap portions in plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Better to freeze raw meat for 2-3 days. To prepare for feeding, defrost the minced meat in the microwave and the vegetable mixture in water. Mix both parts - minced meat with vegetables is ready to eat.

Step 4

You can add vitamins to this mixture. In general, when feeding with natural food, vitamins must be included in the diet on a regular basis. The meat is cut coarsely so that the animal does not swallow the pieces whole. It's even better to use veined beef so that your pet has to chew the piece more thoroughly before swallowing. Such a recipe can be taken as a basis and diversified, for example, with egg yolk or quail eggs, boiled carrots, low-fat cottage cheese or sour cream - which is more to the taste of the cat. It is not recommended to feed raw beef more often than 3 days a week.

Step 5

Be careful with the inclusion of liver in the diet. This food is rich in vitamins A and D and can cause allergies or simply be difficult to absorb. You do not need to give it often. Bones are also absolutely excluded, especially game bones (chicken, turkey, etc.). The bones of the bird are hollow inside, easily break and crumble into sharp pieces, which can cause serious injury to the gastrointestinal tract.

Step 6

Also, cats should not be given smoked meats, fatty, sweet, lamb and pork, as well as pungent vegetables such as onions or garlic. Be extremely careful with your fish. This seemingly traditional cat food is actually unhealthy for cats and, if consumed continuously, can lead to kidney stones. It may be best to eliminate it altogether.
