Up to 2 months old, Yorkie puppies still feed 6 times a day, mainly milk from their mother, who sometimes spits up food herself in order to accustom her offspring to rougher food. Therefore, it will be difficult to feed a little York puppy with unusual food. You will need to sit next to him, draw attention to the food, tapping on the bowl or near it.
It is absurd to hope that a month-old baby can be fed with cow's milk. It will only cause stomach upset. Bones, raw fish, bread, legumes, raw eggs are also prohibited. The white of the egg can also harm the quality of the coat. From one month of age, ready-made food for decorative breeds can be used to feed a Yorkie puppy, but often it is soaked.
An important point is that Yorkie puppies are already born with worm larvae. It is impossible to talk about the health of the dog without carrying out preventive vaccinations and measures to get rid of worms. Therefore, York puppies are sold, as a rule, not earlier than 2 months. The first stage of the application of anthelmintic measures falls on 3 weeks from the moment of birth, and after another 3 weeks the procedure is repeated. Only 10 days after the worm, the Yorkshire Terrier is given the first vaccination. If the former owner of the puppy did not take all the necessary measures, then he must inform the new owner about this, otherwise the life of the pet will be at risk.
