Dog shoes are no longer an unusual thing. Modern chemicals have turned the former whim of the owners into a necessary element of the wardrobe for every day. Dog boots with soles will become a reliable protector of small paws and you will avoid various troubles and chemical burns.

Instructions
Step 1
Take your dog and place its paw on a piece of checkered paper. Holding the pet that it did not move, mark four points on the sheet with a marker: in front, behind and on the sides. This way you will get the correct measurements. They will be valid for all four legs.
Step 2
Connect the dots together and cut out the workpiece. You should not get an even circle, but a kind of oval. Attach the template to a sneaker sole or thick insole and circle. Cut out four blanks - these are the future soles of dog boots.
Step 3
The best way to make comfortable boots for your dog is to knit them together. To start, crochet a circle to fit the base of the sole. Then knit a row of single crochet stitches, starting the hook under only one part of the loop of the previous row. This will create a cuff that covers the edge of the sole. Glue or sew a foot "insole" to the cutout thick sole.
Step 4
Insert the hook where the lapel begins on the sole. Start creating a kind of “shoe” for the foot with single crochet stitches in a circle. First, knit a loop into a loop without adding or subtracting anything. After a few rows, try on the resulting knitted boot on the dog: if it sufficiently covers the “toes” in a circle, start decreasing the loops to the circumference of the lower leg.
Step 5
Count how many loops you have made in total. Divide them as follows: 1/3 - will go to the tongue, 2/3 - to the boot shaft. Take the knitting needles and thread them through the loops (dial the same 2/3 of the total number of loops in the circle). If you can't get everything at once, divide them into two equal parts and first work with one, then with the second. When finished knitting, just sew them together.
Step 6
It is better to knit the boot with a 1x1 elastic band. So it will wrap tightly around the paw and sit well. On average, you need to knit somewhere 10-15 rows. However, this depends on the breed of the dog and the thickness of the yarn. Vary the height of the dog boots you want to make.
Step 7
Having finished knitting the bootleg, proceed to the tongue. Tongue also knit with knitting needles: with the same elastic band or front satin stitch. As a retainer on the foot, you can grab or tie a string in a contrasting color and pass it in front of the tongue.
