Yorkshire Terriers are everyone's favorites, funny dogs. Often they are treated like toys and are not constantly walked on the street, but simply taught to walk in the litter box like cats. It is hardly right to deprive a dog of walks, but the need to train puppies to the litter box may arise when they have not yet learned to endure for a long time from walking to walking.
Instructions
Step 1
Settle your Yorkshire Terrier in a confined area, such as a kitchen. Let him live there until he learns in most cases to do things in the tray. Spread 10-15 newspapers folded in half or three on the floor. Catch the moment when the puppy wants to write, and put him on the newspaper. Change newspapers as they become dirty. If the dog went to the right place, actively praise him, encourage him with a treat. If you shit on the floor, scold, quickly remove puddles and heaps, wipe the places of their localization with detergents.
Step 2
Buy some cat litter, arrange them so that the terrier can see the litter boxes. Let him play next to them, even sleep inside. When the puppy gets used to the look of the trays, remove some of the newspapers from the floor and cover the toilet containers with them. Some newspapers need to be dry, but some must be stained with dog secretions to smell. Place the puppy in the litter box several times, praise him if he has relieved himself there. When the baby sits down on the floor, take him to the toilet.
Step 3
After a week, remove all newspapers from the floor, wash everything with ammonia or lysoformin. Leave only the trays and gradually move them to the corridor or toilet - where you want them to stand constantly. Continue to praise the puppy for going to the litter box and scold him for getting the floor dirty. Place the dog in the litter box after sleeping and eating. Remove some of the trays over time so that you end up with one. Change wet newspapers to dry ones in time.
