Like any other animal, the pug needs quality hair care. Bathing a pug is recommended only in cases of heavy pollution, since if all the rules are followed, the dog's coat remains clean. If the animal gets dirty, then when washing, certain features should be taken into account.

Step 1
Place a mat on the bottom of the bathtub to prevent the animal's paws from sliding over the surface, and adjust the water temperature. It should be equal to body temperature so that the animal does not freeze and burn. Pour some water into the bottom of the tub.
Step 2
Plug the pug's ears with cotton swabs to prevent water from entering when rinsing off the shampoo. Soak the wool from the shower, avoiding the head. The patch of hair on it and the muzzle itself are washed at the end of the swim. To do this, it is enough to wet a soft cloth with warm water and wipe every fold on the face with it.
Step 3
Rub a small amount of shampoo into your hands, lather it up and apply to the dog's back, belly and paws. Do not use too much detergent, otherwise, on contact with damp wool, excess foam may form, which will be difficult to wash off. The shampoo is rinsed off the coat immediately after soaping with plenty of running water.
Step 4
After washing the pug, wipe each fold well with a towel, remove the tampons from the ear canals and carefully wipe the ears with a dry cloth. Caring for a pug includes regularly cleaning the ear canals of accumulated dirt and wax. The dog's coat can be dried with gentle blotting movements with a towel or a hairdryer, but not every animal is ready to safely tolerate this procedure. It should be warm in the room at this time, otherwise the animal may get sick.
