Baby shampoo with a neutral PH factor or special shampoo marked "for naked animals", a large terry towel, a bath thermometer

Step 1
Prepare everything you need: shampoo with which you will wash your pet, a large towel. Fill the bathroom or basin with hot water. Remember that the body temperature of the sphinx is much higher than the body temperature of a person, so the water should be much warmer than you usually use for yourself, optimally - 36-38 degrees. Take the bath to about the middle of the sphinx's chest. Be sure to turn off the water before bathing, as its noise can scare your cat. To prevent your pet from slipping and feeling confident in the water, place a rubber mat under its paws.
Step 2
Slowly lower the cat into the water, let it get used to it. Talk to her lovingly during the process. Lather the whole body, especially soiled areas can be washed with a soft sponge or washcloth. Make sure that the soap does not get into the eyes and ears of the sphinx, the muzzle does not need to be wetted at all. Rinse off the shampoo well, make sure that it does not remain on the pet's skin, as this can cause irritation.
Step 3
When the washing procedure is over, remove the sphinx from the water and immediately wrap it in a large towel. Blot the moisture very thoroughly and hold it on your hands until the cat is completely dry. Do not let your pet out earlier, as it can easily catch a cold. Never use a hair dryer to dry it, it can scare the sphinx and burn it.
Step 4
If your pet's skin is prone to dryness, apply a non-greasy oil after bathing. A light baby massage oil or a special moisturizer from a pet store will work. To complete hygiene, wipe the cat's ears and eyes with sterile cotton wool and trim the nails.
