Step 1
Start training from the moment the dog appears in the house. First, train your puppy to respond to a nickname. To do this, often play with your pet, caress him, calling him by name.
Step 2
Now you can teach your puppy to approach on command. This can be done in several ways. Before feeding, call the dog and tap the bowl on the floor while saying, "Come to me!" After the puppy runs up, pet him approvingly.
Step 3
On a walk, let your pet run for 5-10 minutes, then call him by name and call him a command. If the puppy is stubborn, then you do not need to shout at him and, moreover, beat him. It is better to offer him a treat and say again: "Come to me!". Usually it works, and the puppy comes up, then give him food, praise.
Step 4
If your pet is stubborn and does not want to obey, even seeing the proposed treat, walk it on a long leash. And when you call in a team, then pull up with a leash, stroke, give a treat. Over time, he will understand what you want from him.
Step 5
Grown-up puppies often show disobedience, although before that they perfectly performed the command "Come to me!" This happens especially often if the pet is keen on playing with other dogs. In this case, shouting is not worth it, but it is also impossible to ignore the dog's refusal to execute the command. Otherwise, all training will come to naught. In this situation, it would be most correct to start moving in the opposite direction. Seeing the retreating owner, the puppy will rush to catch up. You need to wait for him and then caress him.
