A few days before giving birth, the cat begins to have vaginal discharge. During this period, the uterine plug begins to liquefy, the sacral bone becomes mobile. Watch the animal closely for these signs.
Step 4
Examine your cat's mammary glands. Two days before giving birth, colostrum appears, which can flow out and this is immediately noticeable by the animal's coat.
Step 5
If you notice that labor has begun, then leave the cat alone. Do not touch her and the kittens, but do not stop watching her so that if necessary, you can have time to call the veterinarian.
