Dogs have surrounded man since time immemorial. They are loyal and loyal friends, good helpers in certain situations. Throughout the history of mankind, people have resorted to the help of dogs in completely different situations and areas of life: dogs were sent into space, studied empirically, cloned and simply admired their boundless devotion and loyalty. And for all this, the dogs had enough praise from their owners.

Step 1
Hachiko
A faithful dog named Hachiko is not just a character in the film, but also a real idol of multi-million dollar Japan. Hachiko's life line was closely intertwined with its beloved master. But their friendship did not last long. The owner's life was cut short by a heart attack. The orphaned dog at that time was only 1, 5 years old. Since then, the faithful Hachiko every day for 9 years came to the same place (Shibuya station) waiting for his master. The relatives and friends of the deceased tried to take the dog to themselves, but it was all in vain - Hachiko constantly returned to the station, waiting for his master until late twilight, after which he went to the empty house (where his owner used to live) and spent the night there on the porch. The dog died from filaria of the heart 9 years after the death of the owner. Currently, there is a monument to Hachiko in Tokyo.
Step 2
Belka and Strelka
It is impossible not to mention these discoverers of outer space. Belka and Strelka are mongrel dogs that have withstood a rigorous selection for the right to be the first to conquer space. These dogs were taught to endure various overloads, to be in a confined space for a long time, to eat certain foods, to calmly react to loud sounds and noise. Few people know that Strelka and Belka deserve the right to be only understudies, and initially two other dogs, Chaika and Chaika, were sent into space. Unfortunately, their flight ended exactly 12 seconds after the rocket took off. The rocket exploded. A month later, the stand-ins were launched - Belka and Strelka. Their safe return from space became a world sensation, and their travel data formed the basis for the development of the future space flight of the first man - Yuri Gagarin.
Step 3
Snappy
Not so long ago, the list of famous dogs was replenished with another individual named Snappi. This dog is the world's first cloned dog. He was born on April 24, 2005. His birth was preceded by long-term experiments and research carried out by scientists from the South Korean Seoul University. It is curious that the name of this dog is composed of two words: the abbreviation of the university (SNU) and the English word puppy (puppy). Scientists say that more than 1,000 embryos had to be implanted into 123 females in order to get one single clone. As a result, only three dogs were pregnant, and only one had a successful birth. The breed of this dog is the Afghan Hound.
