Sometimes there are times when the owners have no one to leave the dog with or they just need to be taken to another city, so you have to take it with you on the train.
It is necessary
- - a list of documents on the health of the animal;
- - a baggage or children's train ticket.
Instructions
Step 1
You can't just take a dog on a train. First you need to collect all kinds of documents, as well as purchase a ticket, the type of which depends on the weight of the animal.
Step 2
First of all, you will need to visit a veterinarian with your dog in order to obtain a veterinary certificate or veterinary certificate. One of these documents will be required to transport the dog. Also, at least thirty days and no more than six months before the trip, you must give the animal a rabies vaccine. You will also need a certificate of this vaccination.
Step 3
Next, you need to purchase a ticket. If you have a small pet, for example a Toy Terrier, Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier or a dog of another small breed and its weight does not exceed 20 kg, you need to buy a baggage ticket for that weight. In addition, a container is required to transport such a dog, so make sure you purchase one in advance.
Step 4
For medium-sized dogs such as Spaniels, English Bulldogs or Bobtails, you also need to buy a baggage ticket by weight. A container for transporting these pets is no longer required.
Step 5
Sheepdogs, Labradors and other large breed dogs will not have enough baggage tickets. Instead, you need to purchase a child ticket for them. Also, you will definitely need to take a muzzle and a leash on your trip.
