Rock dove

These pigeons are used for various shows, as they are able to fly in flocks, making wide circles, gliding smoothly and rapidly gaining altitude. Due to the enclosure conditions, many turmans are now losing their acrobatic skills. This is what breeders are seriously concerned about.

Tsaritsyn pigeon
This pigeon has a rather bright color. He has a blue chest, a blue tail with a gray tint, and white wings. Previously, these pigeons were especially popular in the Volga region, were bred in Tsaritsyn (modern Volgograd), now they have spread throughout Russia. This breed has a slender, stately appearance and a proud carriage. Tsaritsyno pigeons fly low and not for very long, therefore they are mainly used for exhibitions and for breeding other breeds.
Peacock
This breed is very beautiful - its representatives have a lush wide tail, similar to a peacock. Peacocks fly poorly and perform a purely decorative function. This species was bred in India, in time immemorial, but it only came to Europe in the 17th century. The color of peacocks is always very beautiful, it can be snow-white, bright yellow, silver-gray, juicy blue, chocolate brown, cream.
Peacocks are interesting for their steadfastness when courting. They fluff up their tail, stand on the tips of their fingers, fold their wings to the bottom and throw their head back to the base of the tail.
Russian carrier pigeon
This legendary breed of pigeons was used in the old days for emergency communications. Homing pigeons have a slender, lean body, a fairly large beak and wide wings. Usually their plumage is white. Russian postal pigeons are famous for their ability to fly long, therefore they are often used in competitions for sports pigeons.
