In frosts, it is especially difficult for birds to get their own food. But it is the well-fed birds that are able to survive the cold without losses in flocks. In the stone jungle of the city, it is also not easy to find food. The townspeople should take care of our smaller winged brothers. By hanging feeders in parks and courtyards, city dwellers will greatly facilitate the winter production of bird food.
It is necessary
Hacksaw, rail, rods, nails, hammer, rope, tetrapack, scissors, wire, small pumpkin, feed, scoop, ladder, bathrobe
Instructions
Step 1
Saw the bar into pieces with a hacksaw. From the resulting posts, use nails and a hammer to put together the base of the feeder. Make the roof of the dining house from twigs gathered in bunches. Firmly connect all the parts, twist with wire in some places. Attach a rope to the roof of the feeder to hang it from the tree branches.
Step 2
Take an empty tetra pack. Use scissors to cut through the wide windows in the walls. Attach the wire to the top of the house.
Step 3
Choose a small pumpkin. Make a through hole in the center of the fruit so that the stem and the opposite pole remain intact. Attach a rope or wire to the ponytail.
Step 4
Hang ready-made feeders in the park or yard on the branches of trees. If the lower branches are chopped off, use the stairs to set up the dining house. Add food - sunflower seeds, bread, rowan berries.
Step 5
Watch your feeder. Sweep or scoop the snow from the roof during the time so that it does not cover the food. Correct the house if it looks askew in the wind. Replenish feed stocks. Observe which birds have chosen your dining room. Find out which seeds they like and which ones remain intact. Spoil your wards, add their favorite dish.
Step 6
Hang slices of bread directly on the branches of the tree. Such serving will be convenient for birds.
Step 7
In the same place, hang frozen berries and apple pieces on the branches. Try to choose branches higher so that passers-by do not accidentally hit them.
Step 8
Do not pick clean shrubs and fruit trees in your backyard areas. This will be an important help for the bird in winter.
Step 9
Observe the regime - feed the birds at the same hours. Pour feed into the feeders or go out to feed the pigeons always on time.
Step 10
Feed the pigeons in the clothes they are used to seeing you. Put on a robe over a fur coat or down jacket, and after feeding, take it off and put it in a bag.
Step 11
If the city has water bodies that do not freeze in winter, ducks can be found there. Feed them raw sunflower seeds or white crumbs. Such food will not sink. Alternatively, store the food on ice.
