Make sure your rabbit is healthy as only completely healthy, active animals should be vaccinated. Please note that individuals older than 1 - 3 months are vaccinated.
Step 2
Ten days before vaccination, carry out a preventive release of the body from parasitic worms (worms). To do this, buy special preparations for rodents or for kittens (by weight) and, according to the instructions, carry out deworming.
Step 3
Call your veterinarian for a vaccination, you can vaccinate a rabbit against only one disease or both at once. Trust your doctor with the choice of vaccine. If you do not want to call the veterinarian at home, take the rabbit to the clinic, while teaching that you expose him to the danger of catching the disease (it is transmitted through food, bedding, by contact, with the help of mosquitoes and midges). The third option - if you have all the necessary skills, vaccinate the rabbit yourself.
Step 4
Do not worry if redness appears at the injection site, some lethargy, drowsiness, and decreased appetite on the first day are also allowed. Remember, hot vaccinations are often more difficult for a rabbit.

After vaccination within 2 weeks, follow some rules: do not bathe the animal and do not expose it to sudden changes in temperature, do not change the composition of the food abruptly, do not expose it to stressful situations and transportation, do not carry out treatment against parasites.
Step 6
Please note that some vaccines require revaccination (you can learn about this from the instructions). In this case, repeat the vaccinations after a year, otherwise the immunity will cease to work. Moreover, if you miss the time and do not complete the second vaccination on time, you will have to start all over again.
