The horse is a noble animal. As a species, it has long been tamed by man. However, each individual animal always has to be tamed by a person from scratch. To find a common language even with a well-worn horse, you will need some time, remarkable endurance and willpower.

Step 1
Firstly, there is a main rule that applies to the training and domestication of all animals - you should never be afraid or nervous.

First you need to get the horse used to you. To do this, you need to spend more time with her. It will be useful if you yourself will start it in a stall after training, unsaddle, clean, comb the mane and tail. At the same time, stroking and saying gentle words so that she feels positive energy from you and is not afraid.
Step 3
Different "goodies" work very well in this regard: fresh carrots, apples or bread. But sugar, although horses love it, it is better not to pamper it for her own health. You can feed in this way simply by communicating in a stall. And it will give an even greater effect if you use food as a reward for a correctly executed command.
Step 4
However, one positive contact is not enough to finally tame the animal to itself. It must firmly know which of you is in charge. If you slacken and let your horse get the best of you just a few times, it will feel stronger and will not obey you. And this is already dangerous for you when dealing with such a powerful animal.
Step 5
During training, the horse must be brought up, showing who is in charge. Therefore, you should be harder and more demanding. But this does not mean that you have to be cruel. If the horse has executed the command correctly, it should be encouraged with a kind word, stroking or a piece of something tasty, however, observing the measure. But if the command is not carried out and the horse does not work as it should, then you need to show character and punish a little. Maybe high-pitched censure is enough. The horse may refuse to work when it does not understand what you want from it. This often happens at the beginning of a training session when the beginner rider is not giving the horse's commands correctly, i.e. not as she used to.
Step 6
Never offend your horse, even if you are not happy with it. She will definitely remember this and there can be no question of trust. Also, you should not overwork her, training should be a joy not only to you, then she will willingly participate in them.
