Homeless animals need kindness, care and mercy the most. If there is no way to shelter another homeless cat, you can do just a little for him - feed and make a full-fledged street dwelling. A house for a cat can be made from almost any available materials, since its main purpose is to shelter the animal from any weather conditions.

- - the body of the old speaker,
- - an old wicker basket.
Instructions
Step 1
Perhaps the most common foundations for creating cat houses are old cardboard boxes. This popularity is due to the fact that out of the box it is enough to simply cut out a small window for the entrance, lay a soft base - and the house is ready. On the other hand, cardboard has a lot of disadvantages when creating houses specifically for street animals. Firstly, after the first good shower, such a dwelling will get wet through and through, "blur" and lose its shape. Secondly, cardboard is a light material, and any wind can carry such a house anywhere. To avoid this, fix the cardboard house, for example, on a tree, then it is unlikely to be blown away by the wind. And to protect it from weather conditions, additionally sheathe the home with an old raincoat or oilcloth. For softness, put foam rubber or any dense fabric inside so that the animal is comfortable sleeping.
Step 2
A structure made of wooden beams is considered more durable, or you can also use an unnecessary wooden box. The tree can also get wet, but it will not "corrode" from the water, like cardboard, and will dry out over time. Turn the box over so that one of the sides becomes its base, then the open top of the box will serve as a kind of entrance to the dwelling. Secure the box to the tree with twine. If you want to place it on the ground, then additionally nail the legs 10-20 cm long to the box, so that in the future they can be stuck into the ground, thereby firmly fixing the house.
Step 3
From the case of an old unnecessary monitor, you can also make a beautiful house. Pull out all the insides first, leaving only the body. If you wish, you can also decorate the house with thematic drawings or make a special inscription that allows passers-by to understand that this is a cat's house, and not rubbish that needs to be thrown away. Don't forget to put some foam or a pre-sewn soft cushion made from pieces of unwanted fabric or old clothing inside.
Step 4
By the same principle, you can make a house out of old speakers. Again, leave only the speaker housing itself and fit it inside with a soft base.
Step 5
An old, inverted wicker basket can also be used to make a great cat home. True, it is more suitable as a lightweight summer version, which will definitely need to be fixed either on a tree or nailed, for example, to a fence.
Step 6
Old carpet or trims are great for creating a cat house. Cut out two rectangular bases. One will serve as a roof, the other as a bottom. Pull the lower part with twine or wire so that you get a comfortable base (see the picture). Attach the upper part to the lower one with liquid nails, a stapler or thread.
