Cats are peculiar natures and not every one of them will agree to sit in a special house, except that it will be cozy, comfortable and you can sharpen your long nails. But often children, having seen a house for a cat, ask to buy the same for their pet. However, the price per square meter of feline housing is high. And making a purchase, all the more expensive, is pointless - suddenly your animal does not like it. You can make a house for a cat from scrap materials or purchase inexpensive ones.
Instructions
Step 1
Take six pieces of plywood. You can take any size you like, but it should not be less than 50 by 50 cm. Do not make too large a housing, the cat will not be very comfortable. Don't forget to make a hole for the animal to enter. It can be round or square, as well as in the form of a heart or rectangle.
Step 2
Sheathe the inside of the plywood with any material, a rug or rug will do. If nothing like this was found in your home, then buy a small piece of carpet. Alternatively, you can look at old fur coats in the house, which are also suitable for soft lining of the house. Secure the material with a furniture stapler (construction gun) or nail with small nails. Be sure to check for sharp points.
Step 3
After sheathing, knock down the parts of the house so that you get a box. You can twist them together with a screwdriver or glue them with any non-toxic glue. If you glued the product, let the glue dry thoroughly, otherwise, due to further work, the house may lose its shape.
Step 4
Now sheathe the outside of the house. If you are using thick material, you can glue it on, especially for waterproof fabrics. Take glue on a water basis, or even better, the one used for wooden surfaces.
Step 5
Mount the house to the wall using a metal corner, or place it in a secluded spot that your cat or cat likes best. If you have chosen a place for your creation on the wall, check if you have fixed it firmly. The animal can get very frightened if the house falls due to an unreliable attachment.
