The process of training a puppy to the toilet should be known to any person who is going to bring a four-legged friend to his house. It is not at all difficult to accustom your baby to cleanliness, the main thing is to do it in the early stages of development and to treat your newly minted pet with understanding.
Instructions
Step 1
As soon as the puppy gets into your house, you need to immediately start raising it. First, remove all soft carpets, otherwise they will become a favorite place for your pet's natural needs.
Step 2
Pay attention to where the puppy usually goes to the toilet and, if this place is convenient for you, then put the litter tray there. Most likely, there will be several such places, use two or more trays. This amount will depend on the area where the animal lives and how often you will be at home.
Step 3
In the early days, keep an eye on the little prankster and, as soon as you notice that he is going to do his "wet" business, take him to a place prepared for this purpose. If you do this in a timely manner, then your baby will go to the right place. Do not forget to encourage your pet and treat with some delicacy.
Step 4
Upon reaching 3-3, 5 months of age, the puppy can go outside to do his business. But to be sure, it is better to check with your veterinarian about the end of the quarantine period after vaccinations. While the puppy is small, you will have to go out with him at least 5 times a day. Try to do this after eating, sleeping, or playing. To avoid any kind of trouble, it is recommended to walk with your baby only on a leash. Do not take your dog home until he has done all the chores for which he was taken outside.
