Chinchillas, unlike the same guinea pig, do not emit a specific smell for the whole apartment. They lack sebaceous and sweat glands. Therefore, even their cage should be cleaned once every 10-14 days.
Step 2
These animals are real clean-ups. Their fur is always shiny and clean. Chinchillas do not have ticks and fleas - these insects simply cannot live in such a dense undercoat.
Step 3
Chinchillas are not characterized by molting, which means that you will not see bundles of fur in the corners in your apartment. These animals can only lose individual hairs only with strong excitement or stress.
Step 4
The animal is completely harmless. He has fairly sharp front incisors, but he never bites without warning. If the chinchilla does not like something or it feels danger, then for a start it will only slightly bite, as if warning. At the same time, the animal does not scratch at all, since it does not have claws, but has nails. By the way, they regularly gnaw them, that's why they have such soft "hands". Only on the hind legs are the marigolds slightly rough.

Simple food, a spacious cage and walking around the apartment - and your chinchilla will be happy. She needs to be fed only once a day. During the day, she eats a couple of spoons of special food, and also drinks water. As you can see, this wonderful animal will not require you to spend a lot and revise your usual daily routine.
