If you have a pet, it is better to take it with you if you go on vacation. After all, separation from the owners, albeit short-lived, has a very bad effect on the psyche of the animal. To avoid this, try to create such conditions for your vacation that the presence of a four-legged friend would also fit into the vacation.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step before the planned trip is to visit the cynological service. In this service, you must be issued a certificate for a dog that this animal does not belong to a rare breed and can be exported abroad, because representatives of elite dog breeds cannot be exported from the country.
Step 2
Once the breed certificate has been obtained, the veterinary examinations can be continued.
It is necessary to visit a veterinary clinic and fully examine and vaccinate the dog against infections such as hepatitis, plague, enteritis, as well as against rabies, and carry out treatment against ectoparasites.
Veterinary certificate and veterinary passport of international standard are issued only for clinically healthy animals, information on vaccinations is entered into these documents. It is better to make a passport in two languages so that there are no problems at customs.
Step 3
It is important to consider the date of treatment against ectoparasites. The passport must contain a note that the anthelmintic drug was given to the animal no earlier than 30 days before entry and no later than a day before departure. If the drug is given to the dog earlier than a day before departure, the customs may require you to wait a day at the border and only then will you let you in.
