Bees are insects that live in large families, they are always ready to protect their home and personal space. In some people, a bee sting can cause only a slight swelling and a short-term burning sensation, while in others it is accompanied by a sharp deterioration in well-being and intoxication.
It is necessary
- - Tweezers;
- - ice;
- - antihistamine drug;
- - an ampoule of adrenaline.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, people who make a lot of sudden movements and wave their arms are at risk of trying a bee sting on themselves. Even if a bee flew close to you, do not try to brush it off or crush it. After killing an insect, you will crush a tank with poison, the smell of which will serve as a team for the rest of the relatives to fight. In this case, you run the risk of getting a large portion of the venom of the enraged bees. Insects are very attracted to people who smell like creams, cologne or perfume. Bees are irritated by the smell of oil products, garlic and alcohol.
Step 2
People have quite different susceptibility to bee venom, but almost always the bite is accompanied by reddening of the skin, acute pain, burning sensation. The bite of this insect can cause swelling, which can last up to several days. Particularly susceptible people develop general weakness, dizziness, shortness of breath and a skin rash. Elderly people with a weak heart are difficult to tolerate bee stings, while a drop in pressure is possible, the body becomes covered with spots, and breathing becomes difficult. It is necessary to put the patient on a flat surface and provide access to fresh air, call an ambulance.
Step 3
Bee venom, when it enters the human body, literally causes mast cells to dump into the blood a substance that causes itching, rash and edema - histamine. There is a separate category of citizens suffering from an allergic reaction to bee venom (according to statistics, about 2% of the entire population of the planet suffers from an allergic reaction to bee or wasp stings). In this case, bee stings can cause common urticaria or anaphylactic shock. This group of persons needs to stay away from the apiary as far as possible, not to walk barefoot on the grass.
Step 4
Without exception, all people are at risk of a bee sting in the throat, palate or tongue. At the same time, there is a high risk of edema of the larynx and mucous membrane of the pharynx, which closes the access of oxygen to the respiratory tract with all the ensuing consequences. A bee and wasp sting can cause Quincke's edema - this is an acutely developing allergic edema of the skin, mucous membranes, subcutaneous tissue, which is often fatal.
Step 5
If you are stung by a bee, take an antihistamine immediately and gently remove the sting with tweezers. Try not to scratch the bite site, this can lead to the development of a bacterial infection and trauma to the skin. Apply ice to the affected area. If a bee stings an allergic person, you need to immediately give an injection of adrenaline, which will help not only prevent the occurrence of an allergic reaction, but also save life.
