Some are addicted to this so much that they sew outfits for their pets on their own.

Step 1
If you decide to sew a jumpsuit for your dog, then choose two types of fabric for this: one for the lining, and the second for the top. It is better to take flannel for the lining, and use raincoat fabric as the main fabric.
Step 2
To build a pattern, you need to take the main measurement: the distance from the neck (base) to the tail (this is the length of the back). To pinpoint the cervical point, place the collar on the dog, but not over pressure. Divide the resulting number by 8 to determine the length of the side of the net (its square).
Step 3
Now, on paper, draw a square of your grid, the side of which will be equal to 1/8 AB (segment AB is a measure of the length of the back). Find a simple jumpsuit pattern for a small dog and transfer the pattern onto your net. Depending on what breed your pet is, adjust the width of the legs on the finished pattern (if necessary). Remember to adjust the width and length of the legs during fitting. It is better to gather at the bottom of the trouser leg with elastic.
Step 4
As a result of cutting out, you should have nine parts, not counting the belt. Cut them out, giving seam allowances of no more than 2 cm. Cut the edging along the oblique thread. Sweep away the main details and try on, adjusting, if necessary, to size. If the jumpsuit has a belt, then do not forget to make a drawstring. Trim the neck of the jumpsuit together with an elastic band. Similarly, it is desirable to process the opposite part of the outfit.
Step 5
For fastening, it is better to use a wide Velcro, cut into several small pieces. In this case, the jumpsuit will not "wrinkle". Sew the flaps under the fastener. Alternatively, sew handles and pockets to the jumpsuit. You will need handles to hold the dog comfortably, and pockets for storing pens. You can also insert a cord into the seams so that you can adjust the size.
