On average, a cat walks in a blanket for 1-2 weeks, while the owners have to take off the blanket from time to time in order to process the seams, and then put it on again. The problem is that veterinarians do not always explain how to properly wear such clothes for a cat.

Step 1
Be very careful when putting blankets on your cat. After the operation, the animal does not feel in the best way, so the faster and more painlessly you put on the blanket, the better. It is better to dress the cat together. First spread the blanket, straighten all the ties. Determine which side of the blanket should be tied near the head and which side should be tied near the tail. This is not difficult to do: the front ties are located much farther from each other than the back ones.
Step 2
Place the cat on the blanket. Let one person hold the animal, and the other tie a blanket. Note that the fabric should wrap around the cat's torso from below, and the ties should be fixed at the top. First, tie the two front strings above the animal's head, then take the second and third strings on each side (the second should be in front of the front paw, and the third behind it) and tie the second left with the third right and the second right with the third left. The blanket should fit snugly around the body, but under no circumstances should it press. Pay attention to the cat's paws: they should move freely, without getting tangled either in the strings or in the cloth of the blanket.
Step 3
Next, tie the fourth and fifth strings together on each side (fourth with fourth, fifth with fifth). This will secure the blanket to your torso. As a result, the last four ties should remain - two on each side. The sixth string should be in front of the hind leg and the seventh behind it. Tie the hind legs in the same way as the front legs, i.e. crosswise (left sixth with right seventh, right sixth with left seventh). In this case, the tail should be between the last right and last left strings. Check if the hind legs are well tied and not tangled or tangled in the fabric. Finally, let go of the cat and let her walk around the apartment for a bit. At first, the cat will be uncomfortable to move, but over time it will get used to the blanket.
