Cats are among the most popular pets. It is estimated that these creatures have lived side by side with humans for over 10 thousand years. These pets are graceful and beautiful animals that give their owners love, warmth and, of course, affection.

Step 1
Siamese cats are one of the most widespread and ancient breeds on Earth. They have gained popularity due to their unusual coloration and friendly nature. Nowadays, these weasels are found all over the world. The first mention of the Siamese cat breed dates back to the 16th century. It was then that these funny creatures began to breed in the royal court of Siam (now Thailand). At the end of the 19th century, Europeans began to import these animals into the Old World and crossed them with representatives of other breeds. It is difficult to confuse modern Siamese cats with any other breed, since the striking external features inherent in these creatures distinguish them from the entire feline kingdom.
Step 2
First of all, the Siamese have a certain physique: their body is elongated, thin and muscular. From the outside it may seem as if the cat is emaciated, but this is not at all the case! The slender body shape allows Siamese cats to be very flexible animals. With an average body length, an adult weighs from 2.5 to 5.5 kg. The neck of the Siamese is slightly arched and elongated. The limbs are also long and muscular, due to which the legs of Siamese cats are distinguished by their slenderness. The head of cats of this breed has a wedge-shaped shape: the muzzle is extended forward, and the skull is slightly convex. The Siamese has practically no cheeks on its face, but it has rather high cheekbones.
Step 3
The nose of Siamese cats is straight and is a continuation of the forehead, and the ears are huge and pointed upwards. By the way, the big ears of the Siamese are another unique feature that distinguishes these cats from any others. Around the muzzle, as well as on the tail and on the tips of the paws, the Siamese have a distinctive fawn color. It is curious that on the face it resembles an equilateral triangle: its tops are the tips of both ears and the nose. Another curious difference between the Siamese cat breed and any other is their eyes: not only are they oblique, they are also blue or blue. The size of the eyes of Siamese beauties is average, and their shape is almond-shaped. Many breeders say that this particular trait indicates a purebred thoroughbred Siamese. The tails of these "grimy" beauties are long and thin, tapering towards the end.
Step 4
Siamese cats have dense, but at the same time, thin and short hair that is close to their body. They have practically no undercoat. As mentioned above, the color of their entire body has a peculiar character: dark spots cover both the muzzle of these cats, and the tips of their paws, and even the tail. Siamese breeders claim that a purebred Siamese cat should have a strong contrast between the main color of the body and the spots on it.
