Many dog breeders want to participate with their pets at various exhibitions and competitions. The most interesting type of training for both dogs and humans is dog freestyle. You can amaze others with your dog's talents and amuse them with funny dances.
Instructions
Step 1
You need to start training and educating your pets already at a young age, when the character is just forming in animals. Dog freestyle includes a set of compulsory movements that the pet must learn. In addition to the basic commands, the dance can also include those elements that the owner of the dog invented himself. The quality of a dance can be influenced by music. Choose the melody that you like and does not bother your pet. The music should have a rhythm that suits both you and the puppy.
Step 2
Your pet must learn the simplest commands, such as "near", "to me", "fu" and many others, before you start teaching him to dance. In dog freestyle, the "snake" movement is mandatory. The puppy should sit at your left leg. Step forward, holding a pet treat in your hand, trying to make the dog pass between your legs with its scent. When the dog does this, step again. In this way, walk about five meters. Always reward your pet after successfully completing a command.
Step 3
Teach your puppy to turn on its own axis. Take a toy or treat for your pet and grab his attention. Move your hand slowly so that your pet turns around its axis, two or three turns will be enough. Over time, the puppy will need to do this exercise without the aid of a toy.
Step 4
Small breeds can be trained to do this movement while standing. First you need to train the puppy to stand on its hind legs. Raise your hand with the treat, forcing the dog to stand up. Move a little so that the dog on its hind legs "comes up" to you. When your pet has learned this command, try raising and lowering your arm to make your pet jump up and down.
Step 5
Now you can rotate by hand, the puppy will start to rotate abruptly around its axis. Take your time to train your pet. All classes should not be long, otherwise the dog will get tired. Once your dog has mastered the basic movements, you can teach him more complex commands or even come up with your own
