The upbringing of the dog, teaching its basic, most necessary skills, takes place in the first four months of its life. It is up to this age that the puppy acquires those habits and gets acquainted with those concepts that will remain with him throughout his life. Therefore, the upbringing process begins from the first day when it just appeared in your home.
Step 2
The puppy should immediately have a place to sleep, a place to feed and a nickname. Treat him right away like an adult dog and don't allow him anything you won't allow when he grows up. It is in your best interest not to teach him to wallow on sofas and armchairs, beg for handouts at the table.
Step 3
The first training teams, which will not be a big problem to teach the puppy, should be "Place", "You cannot", "To me" and "Near". This is the minimum necessary to ensure the safety of your pet.
Step 4
Of course, each team works separately and consolidates over several days. Do not overwork the puppy, classes should take place during play or on a walk and last no more than 10 minutes. Be sure to stimulate your puppy with something tasty, but not very harmful - a piece of low-fat cheese, a lean cracker, an apple. Your dog will be best stimulated by your praise and affection, so do not forget to show him your pleasure from the correct command.
Step 5
Do not train if you are annoyed or simply in a bad mood. Dogs sense this perfectly, and training will not please the dog or you. Stop exercising at the first sign of fatigue that your dog shows.
Step 6
During training, always pronounce the commands clearly, do not intersperse the words of the command with other words and do not distort them. Strive for obedience and correct execution, do not give up until the dog understands what is required of him. Patience and perseverance are the qualities a trainer needs.
