Dog owners have encountered differences in behavior between males and females. Basically, this is reflected in the manifestation of interest in dogs of the opposite sex. Males react very violently to the presence of nearby hot bitches and this, first of all, manifests itself in disobedience and aggressive behavior. There are several ways to prevent this behavior.
Instructions
Step 1
When purchasing a dog, decide for yourself - for what purpose you did it. Whether he will participate in exhibitions and mating with you or you need a dog as a favorite of the family, a kind and calm friend. If you are not going to make a breeding breeder out of him, then it will be easier to calm him down.
Step 2
As a rule, "boys", even not neutered, provided that there are no females within the "hearing" range, can safely live their entire lives, never showing signs of excitement about this. He gets along well with the hosts and guests of the house and does not complain about his health. But such situations are found in dogs of small breeds, which all the time live in an apartment and walk in their own yard. It is better not to "untie" a dog that is not trained to become a producer. The first few years it is necessary to control him very strictly and, while walking, constantly keep him on a leash, but by then, by the age of four, you will be able to be calm about his health and behavior.
Step 3
Problems can arise even after one, random and only mating. The dog's behavior can change dramatically, then he will look for new meetings with ladies for the rest of his life. During those periods when a bitch in heat is next to him, the dog can be given some kind of sedatives, which can be purchased at a veterinary pharmacy. Choose the dosage of the drug in accordance with the age of the dog and the recommendations of the veterinarian. But all these drugs are hormonal and are not very beneficial for the health of the animal.
Step 4
There are also biological additives that have a calming effect, which include herbs: motherwort, plantain, peppermint. Unfortunately, their effect, although gentle, is very weak for many dogs and their use has no great effect.
Step 5
Discuss your pet's future love life in a family council. Perhaps the surest way to calm the cable should be applied - simply castrate it by tying the spermatic cords. In this case, the dog's behavior changes dramatically for the better - he becomes less aggressive, starts playing with other dogs, he is no longer afraid of premature heart attacks and hypertensive crises.
