Many useful things can be poured out of alabaster that can be used in everyday life: flower vases, hot coasters, fridge magnets, flower pots. And once it was decided to make a bowl for the cat - for crackers.
It is necessary
- 1. Two buckets of mayonnaise
- 2. Large enema or ball
- 3. Double-sided and regular scotch tape
- 4. Technical oil
- 5. Alabaster
- 6. Starch
- 7. Stationery glue
- 8. Polymer glue Prestige
Instructions
Step 1
Take a bucket of mayonnaise and cut the top and bottom horizontally with a clerical knife and scissors, as well as vertically.
Take the second bucket and place it upside down. Wrap with double-sided tape.
Then we fix the first bucket on double-sided tape.
Now we will wrap it with ordinary tape below and across.
Step 2
Then thoroughly mix water and stationery glue in a 1: 1 ratio and add alabaster and starch one spoon at a time (for better thickening), stirring thoroughly so that there are no lumps. The ratio of alabaster to starch should be 3: 1 somewhere. It is necessary to add and stir until the state of liquid sour cream.
Step 3
Take a large enema (they are also called syringes) or a ball and cut off the top at the widest part. Then we will lubricate our form (from an enema) with technical oil.
Step 4
Place the first bucket inside - the distance between the walls of the enema and the bucket should be half a centimeter somewhere. Then fill the first bucket with the prepared mixture by a third and put there an enema with a load, like a magnet. Then add our mixture to the edges of the form (from the enema). It is necessary to ensure that the walls are uniform and uniform in thickness.
Step 5
Now we will wait a day until the workpiece is dry and carefully remove it from the mold. Let's wait a couple more days until it is completely dry and cut off the edges with a clerical knife.
Step 6
Then cover with black gouache or acrylic paint on the outside.
Then we will cover the outside and inside with a brush with polymer glue of the Prestige type. And the bowl for the cat is ready!
