Usually domestic cats are devoid of any aggressiveness. If an animal bites and scratches, it means that it is afraid of something or defends its territory. Growing up in apartment conditions, cats take the owner for their breadwinner.
It so happens that the cat is marking time in one place, as if marching. This phenomenon has its roots in a time when an adult cat or cat was kittens.
The animal alternately presses with one or the other foot, making massage with rhythmic movements. It seems that it deliberately measures the time, gradually increasing the pace of the procedures. At the same time, rarely did anyone endure the moment when these movements become especially intense and strong. The cat clings to the skin with its claws even through clothing, causing pain.
Those who have a lactating animal have probably watched kittens suck on milk. When the babies eat, they make exactly the same movements - they press their paws on the belly of their nurse. In this way, kittens stimulate the flow of milk to the nipple, and in anticipation of a treat, they salivate. Such techniques are accompanied by rather loud sounds - kittens purr.
Having become accustomed to your behavior, the cat knows that if you sit in a chair, it means that they are ready for relaxation. The animal understands your posture as if you can take it to your chest. Making a massage, your pet feels absolutely happy, feels complete safety. Sitting on your lap, the cat begins to purr and saliva. She does not understand why, during the manifestation of the most tender feelings, she suddenly finds herself on the floor.
When you put a cat away, you hurt her. The animal does not understand your behavior, because when an adult cat or cat was small, they never did this to them.
It so happens that cats begin to stomp before going to bed. The movements, as a rule, are made in a circle - from the center to the edge, as if forming a cozy nest. Cats did not always live in apartment conditions, once, instead of a soft rug, they had to sleep in hard grass and before lying down, cats trample a nest - this is a manifestation of instinct.
