The Japanese Spitz is a small dog with rather fluffy fur. This is a very active, agile and cheerful animal. In order for the Japanese Spitz to look neat and well-groomed, it must be combed every day. And basically, it will not be difficult to keep a dog of such a breed, since it is by nature neat and tidy. In addition to everything else, Japanese Spitz are extremely smart and quick-witted, which favorably affects their training.
Instructions
Step 1
When training a Spitz, you will have to show considerable firmness and perseverance to show which of you is the master. It is also necessary to try to show the methodical nature of your own actions in order to train the Japanese Spitz well. And only then will this little dog obey its owner and perform various tricks.
Step 2
Train your Spitz to be in the correct display stance. To do this, from 4-5 weeks regularly place the dog on the table. First, lower the front legs of the pet, then parallel to them - the hind legs. Make sure that the Pomeranian does not drop his tail or flatten his ears.
Step 3
During the show, the Spitz must be able to show his teeth. The main task of the owner is to teach the pet not to show aggression against the jury member. To do this, do this exercise regularly. Place one hand on the upper jaw, exposing the incisors with two fingers. Do the same with the other hand. At the same time, the Spitz, having tightly closed his teeth, should not growl.
Step 4
The movement of the dog during the show ring. The Spitz must calmly run alongside the owner. At the same time, his movements are calm, beautiful. The pet should not rush forward, pull on the leash. Depending on the type of Spitz, the owner must choose the optimal gait for himself.
Step 5
Try to complete any lesson with the Spitz when the command is executed most successfully. Praise him, give him a favorite treat, and take a walk.
Step 6
Train your spitz to follow the basic commands: "Down!", "Place!", "Sit!", "Near!" Training in this case is standard. For example, to teach the command: "Lie down!", You need to gently, slowly pull the dog's paws towards you so that it takes a lying position.
Step 7
You can train even an undisciplined dog, you just need to find an approach to the animal. For example, a dog loves to chase cats, let it be "hot". All ignored standards will become "cold". If you apply interest to the hot to reward the cold, you will see positive results in the near future.
