Throw a ball to the puppy and watch the dog move. Is there lameness, how the puppy is physically developed, how actively it is involved in the game. At the same time, you can test his learning ability. Nine out of ten dogs will run after the ball, seven will find it. Five will be brought back. Three dogs will agree to give you the ball. And only two out of ten will willingly do it all again. As a rule, Jack Russell Terriers show high development of intelligence and good trainability.
