Puppies are like children. They are a lot of trouble and a lot of joy. They play a lot, eat a lot and get dirty a lot …
Bathing a puppy is not only possible, but also necessary. The special shampoo will not harm, and the coat will become clean and well-groomed.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a small basin with warm water, put it in the bathroom. Place the puppy in the pelvis. The "dimensionless" space of the bathroom, and even slippery, will only frighten him, and in the basin he will feel more protected.
Step 2
Place the puppy in the basin. Gently lower all four legs into the water so that the first fear immediately passes. Talk affectionately with the dog, stroke it. Perhaps, at first, it is better to bathe the puppy together: one lathers, the second speaks affectionately.
Step 3
It is better not to use the shower the first time. Noise and high water pressure can scare the puppy.
Take a ladle and pour warm water over the fur. It is better to start not with the head, but with the tail. This will give the puppy the opportunity to spin around, sniff the bucket and understand what you are doing with it.
Step 4
Lather the coat with shampoo. For a very small dog, you can use a diluted shampoo so as not to dry out the skin. Also start with the tail. Make sure that the shampoo does not get into the ears, eyes and muzzle, otherwise it will be in the dog's mouth in a second!
Massage gently, leave on for two minutes. All this time, speak affectionately with the dog: to stand knee-deep in water, and even soaped up, is still a pleasure …
Step 5
Rinse off the shampoo. You can do this several times to make sure the coat is completely clean.
Step 6
Take the puppy out of the basin, wrap it in a towel, treat it to something tasty - he deserves it!
You can use a hairdryer to dry, but only if it is very quiet, otherwise the baby may get scared.
You can also dab the wool with a towel several times.
