A well-groomed mane is not only an indicator of a horse's beauty, but also a guarantee of its excellent well-being. After all, tangled tangles give the animal unpleasant sensations: the horse itches, itching and irritation appears on the skin. But this can be avoided, just a little effort.

Step 1
The mane should be washed with a horse-only shampoo and conditioner. Do this every two weeks, and less often during the cold season. But be sure to keep your skin dry due to a shampoo allergy. Usually, the animal is washed completely, but if this is not possible, then it is enough to limit oneself to caring only for the mane and tail.
Step 2
Brush your mane both after washing and daily. To do this, use special combs and brushes with natural bristles. But first, select all large debris from the mane: sawdust, turnips, etc. Then take the tangled strands apart into individual hairs. Guide the comb down from the roots.
Step 3
Next, take a brush and comb the mane with it from the base to the ends of the hair, do this with slight pressure to remove all the remaining small debris. In addition, the skin under the mane is cleared of dandruff, blood circulation is stimulated, and hair growth is enhanced.
Step 4
After the mane is dry, it can take on an ugly appearance: curl, electrify, even stand on end. Therefore, it is better to cover it with a special blanket while still wet.
Step 5
You can give a beautiful shape to a naughty mane like this. Twist individual bundles of hair into bundles and fix with an elastic band at a certain distance (3-4 cm) from the comb. To make it easier to deal with unruly hair, pre-treat it with a special styling gel.
Step 6
Braid your mane. There are many different options, but continental braids look especially beautiful. To make them, divide the mane into small strands and secure with elastic bands. Now take two adjacent strands, join together at a distance of 7 cm and secure again with an elastic band. Next, divide each resulting tail in half and again connect the halves with the neighboring ones. If the mane is long, then such weaving resembles a net draped over the horse's neck.
