If you have a purebred cat, but there are no documents for it, then this could happen for several reasons. Often people take a kitten, but they don't care about the documents, thinking that they still need the animal for their souls. Then they try to make the documents, but it turns out to be very difficult. It happens that documents are lost. In some cases, they can be restored, but not always. There are also documents that are not related to the breed of the cat - a veterinary passport, which is required to transport the animal.
Instructions
Step 1
It is very simple to make a veterinary passport - in a clinic where a cat is vaccinated and other procedures are sometimes issued immediately, but if this has not been done, then you can ask - and your cat will have a veterinary passport.
Step 2
Most often, people want to make documents for a cat so that she can take part in exhibitions. To do this, the following documents are needed: a veterinary passport (it must contain a mark no later than the last three months, stating that the animal has no worms), the pedigree of the cat, a certificate issued directly at the exhibition itself or at the veterinary station, a certificate β¦ This is for a purebred cat. If the cat is a mongrel, then she can participate in the exhibition as a "domestic" one, then the pedigree is not required.
Step 3
The main problem is to make a pedigree. If it is lost, then restoration is possible only if the cat is registered in the club and has experience of participating in exhibitions, and the cat must also be microchipped. For a cat that is not a member of the club, the pedigree cannot be restored.
Step 4
To issue a pedigree for a cat "from scratch", it is necessary that at birth a child's card, otherwise called a metric, was brought to it. If, when the kitten was born, no card was introduced, then it is impossible to issue a pedigree, because only the club can issue documents and only on the basis of the metric. This refers to the club in which your cat's mother was registered.
Step 5
You can make a certificate of conformity to the breed. This requires that the cat breed selected for the certificate is open. To obtain a certificate, you need to take part in three exhibitions, at each of which different independent experts must give a conclusion that the cat meets the standard adopted for a particular breed. After that, you can find a purebred cat, whose owners will not mind having a joint offspring. These kittens will already receive an incomplete pedigree, and their children will receive a complete one.
