Warming up the feet with mustard helps to fight colds, flu, sore throat and the common cold. Due to the warming and local irritating effect, recovery occurs faster. You don't need anything special for the procedure, just mustard and warm woolen socks. And this is practically in every home, so you can start the procedure.
It is necessary
- - mustard powder;
- - hot water;
- - woolen cotton socks;
- - towel.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare in advance everything you need to warm up in a "wet" way: a basin, boiling water, mustard powder, a towel and warm woolen socks. Pour water into a container and dilute it with cold water, the temperature should be such that only your feet can tolerate. Be careful, you do not need to pour boiling water, you may burn yourself. Add one tablespoon of topless mustard to the water and stir gently.
Step 2
Put your feet in a basin of water and sit for 15-30 minutes (as long as you can). From above, it is best to cover yourself with a blanket, so you will sweat, and, accordingly, recover. Add hot water as the water cools down, otherwise the effect of the procedure will weaken.
Step 3
Take your feet out of the basin and dry them thoroughly with a towel. Put on your socks right away and go to bed. Warming up is best done before going to bed, so that later you will not be blown away anywhere, because even the slightest breeze can provoke a complication of the disease. If you have a high temperature, then you cannot warm up your legs in this way, it can only rise.
Step 4
If you do not want to warm your feet in water, then pour mustard into woolen socks (1-2 tsp). Put on thin cotton socks on your feet, and woolen socks on top, into which mustard is poured. Walk with the compress for about 2-3 hours, you can and a little longer, unless, of course, you experience severe discomfort. This option of warming up the legs with mustard can be used even in the presence of temperature.
