Remember that the cat needs to grind its claws (this is mandatory for animals that do not go outside the home), so buy a special scratching post at the pet store, which is a piece of wood wrapped with a special thread that attracts cats with its smell. If it is not possible to buy, you can make it yourself from a board covered with dense fabric. To attract a cat to this homemade construction, buy catnip for him and sew it into a scratching post.
Step 8
Think about extreme measures (removing the claws of an animal in a veterinary clinic) only in exceptional cases, when all other methods have been tried, and the desired result has not been achieved. After all, such a procedure for removing claws is fraught with infections of the paws for the cat.
