After all, the animal does not understand the words and does what the instinct prompts and, often, the behavior of the beloved pet badly reflects on furniture, wallpaper, carpet and other items of the apartment. Therefore, from the very beginning, you need to accustom the kitten to one place - his house, which you can buy at a pet store or do it yourself.
It is necessary
- - plywood (sheet size approximately 1 m 50 cm by 2 m);
- - floor covering, just do not use fluffy (1m 50cm);
- - screws, nails and corners; - timber (2 meters);
- - hemp (40 meters).
- From the tools you will need a saw, a screwdriver or screwdriver, a hammer, a stapler for furniture, scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
On a sheet of plywood, draw with a pencil or marker the details of the future home. Then cut them out with a saw. To make the parts smoother, you can use a jigsaw.
Step 2
Sand the edges of each cut out part. You can use a file to keep your hands free from splinters.
Step 3
Cut the carpet according to the size of the cut out parts (it is convenient to use chalk or a piece of soap for marking). Then cut out the sketched parts with large, sharp scissors.
Step 4
Carpet the plywood using small nails or a furniture stapler.
Step 5
Assemble the structure using fasteners (use corners, screws). It is better to make the roof of the house removable so that it is convenient to remove wool.
Step 6
Put the house on its legs - this will make a small step, and attach it to the bar, which you place vertically on the side (the bar will serve as a mount for the house). Fasten a small shelf or two on a timber above the house, so that your pet has where and where to jump from. Wrap the timber with hemp so that it is convenient for the cat to sharpen its claws on it.
Step 7
Put a rug or pillow inside, the animal will be warm and comfortable.
